12 – CONTACT INFORMATION
Questions about the Terms of Agreement should be sent to us via e-mail.
A new student can attend a maximum of 3 lessons as a try out. Only the attended lessons will be charged. After that, further participation will be treated as subscription for the educational program:
- Tuition fees are owed per semester. The registration is automatically renewed every six months. Termination of the training must be done in writing 3 months prior to the expiry date. Semesters start in February and in August. In case of cancellation during the semester, the tuition fees for the current semester remain owed. The tuition fees are charged per semester (in exceptional cases payment in instalments is possible).
- In case of an insufficient amount of participants the Academy for Hermetic Arts and Sciences will cancel the training. In case of cancellation the Academy for Hermetic Arts and Sciences will inform the participants as soon as possible and the tuition fees will be refunded.
- In case a student is unable to attend a training through circumstances beyond their control, they can attend missed lessons in parallel groups or convert the Argo’s Journey program to the Inner Journey training.
- Tuition fees need to be covered 6 weeks preceding the semester. After subscription every student has 14 days time for reflection. After this the registration is final and the student can use all facilities of the academy.
Cancellation is regretful for everyone involved. It is disappointing
for the participant unable to attend the training, but also for the
group members: membership and attendance are detrimental factors on the
quality of the group process. Cancellation is also regretful for those
participants that needed to postpone their participation because of
oversubscription. The cancellation arrangement is applied under all
circumstances. The amount of participants is being maximised to ensure a
high trainings intensity for all participants.
Our cancellation arrangement is not applied in case the participant takes care of a matching replacement for the training he enrolled for. A matching replacement is a new member who fulfils the terms and conditions of the training.
- Subscription for the Retreats and Seminars takes place per email. After subscription you receive an invoice for the seminar.
- After subscription every participant has a 14 day time of reflection. After that the cancellation arrangement is applied.
- The payment deadline is 7 days after the date of the invoice.
- In order to organize a retreat or seminar, the organization must make an investment in time and resources to prepare the event which is tailor made for each participant. Our work starts with your registration and not – as is often assumed – on the starting date of the event itself. For this reason, a so-called non-returnable deposit of 50% of the total price is applicable for such events, this payment obligation starts at the time of registration.
- The registration for the retreat or seminar stops 4 weeks before the date on which the event will take place and from that date the full amount is due.
- Given the tailor made nature of the organisation of the weekend retreats, it is not possible to refund the money. We advise to take out a cancellation insurance.
Subscription is per semester. After acceptance the subscription fees need to be paid and the materials will be made available. The student can make use of the supervision for 6 months. If a student wants to continue their training a new semester of supervision needs to be settled. Restitution of tuition fees is not possible.
All the copyrights related to the training materials are owned by Ina Cüsters van Bergen. Without written permission the student is not permitted to put materialst at the disposal of third parties, or to multiply and/or sell it in any way.

General Data Protection Regulation
As a temple we are used to work with strict privacy rules. Because of the new European law General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we went to our procedures, and adapted them where necessary.
Under GDPR, there are a number of grounds to legitimize the processing of personal data. What data do we collect?
- If you want to receive our newsletter, we ask your email.
- If you become a student we ask for your real name and address.
- Working at the Solo Magical Training, you send meditation reports to your supervisor and to the admin of the temple. As a temple we agreed to use pseudonyms for this personal correspondence, so that in an unfortunate case of data leaks, the meditation reports are not reducible to individuals and their private situation.
- At our meetings mobile telephones and other recording devices are locked away to ensure the privacy of all who are there.
- We respect your image rights: pictures and videos are only made by the designated person who works closely together with the board. Pictures of persons are only made and/or published by mutual consent.
These are the most relevant legal bases and whether or not they are under the GDPR and Basis Requirements and product implications
- Data processed must be necessary for the Service and defined in the contract with the individual
- Requires a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent by clear affirmative action
- People have a right to withdraw consent, which must be brought to their attention
- Must be from a person over the age of consent specified in that Member State, otherwise given by or authorised by a parent/guardian
- Explicit consent is required for some processing (e.g., special categories of personal data)
- A business or third party must have legitimate interests which are not overridden by individuals’ rights or interests.
- Data processing must be paused if an objection is raised by an individual.
